Hi all,
I’ve been on the road a bit so no May newsletter and this one is long overdue.
April --National Folk Festival at Canberra
Was just as huge as it always is. Good to see such a variety of ages. One friend
rang me from Moss Vale to say she saw me on stage there, and she’s 85 years old…not bad eh.
The Victorian poets were in their element as Victoria was the featured state, so plenty of opportunity for people to do poems, yarns etc. I ran my first Master class, 3 days on performance skills, which was a blast. It’s amazing
how much you learn when you run a class like that! |

My Bards & Bushrangers show went well and I roped in the services of a couple of muso friends Bob McGuiness and Linton Vogel. One outstanding
concert was the Anzac day tribute with people like Eric Bogle, Fred Smith and many others, I did The last Parade, a very emotional time, and if you’re
on Face book you’ll see a couple of photos that have been posted there from that concert.
